Food with a Story


Matthew Crudder grew up with the fresh colors and tastes of the seasonal products available from local farms, orchards, lakes and woodlands of southern Michigan, as well as my own family’s gardens. Taking an early interest in the kitchen, his first lessons came from his mother and grandmother. He is aware that his role as a chef includes being a steward of the environment. He has been cooking professionally for 20 years and joined Sodexo in 2005.

Through my career and travels, I have had the opportunity to learn about regional American and European food ways by visiting farms, markets, wineries, restaurants and artisans, who continue to create such wonderful and diverse food cultures. It is my pleasure to share this passion with our guests and to inspire this in my team. "
