Food with a Story


Brook Tradlener wants food to be real, whether he’s eating it or cooking it. He gives his food meaning by connecting to personal experience. So if he’s cooking up his signature bread pudding (it’s made with drunken peaches and a vanilla bean Southern Comfort and bourbon reduction) or any other Southern favorite, you’ll find him listening to Hank Williams, just like his grandpa used to when he was a cook.


This Seahawks fan and bacon-lover (his initials are BLT after all) lives to create good times - he finds a big pot of gumbo is a good place to start.
